Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an NBA player with the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings selected her as five selections in this year's WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born on March 2nd, 1997, Milwaukee Wisconsin. Parents Yolanda Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her brothers. Since she was the eldest family member, her parents provided her with the most exemplary treatment. Gregory was a Nigerian Army officer for a lengthy period of time. Ogunbowale comes from an active family background. Her mother Yolanda played softball for DePaul as did her brother Dare. Dare has a career in football. Her aunt used to play volleyball at UAPB and her cousin Endia Oliver too plays Volleyball in Tennessee State. Ogunbowale appeared on the Honor Roll of her school for three years in a row. In high school, she has received numerous awards and has was recognized as a celebrity. Arike received her diploma at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located in Arike's hometown. Apart from studying Arike was a member of three teams on the varsity level while she was at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. Ogunbowale was able to lead her team to numerous victories using her outstanding abilities. Her high school career comprised 73 plays and 1,477 points in her career and 739 career rebounds. Ogunbowale took gold during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship as well as the 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. The 7th of July 2014 was the day she was named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. Kobe Bryant himself congratulated Ogunbowale after her NCCA Tournament big shot. Although still a newbie, Ogunbowale has established herself as an exceptional basketball star and is sure to continue on her path. Arike Ogunbowale is said to be worth $5 million according to an unnamed source. Ogunbowale is not only a great basketballer. She also excels in many other sports as well. Her other passions include soccer. She has won State Cup titles with Lake County United Soccer Club as well as FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. The pianist also played for seven years.
